TKAMThursday 7th July, 2016: Remembering Harper Lee with Holly Bourne, Holly Smale, Anna James and special guests Catherine Johnson and Sarah Sheffi

  • Who: Holly Bourne, Holly Smale, Anna James, Catherine Johnson and Sarah Sheffi
  • What: Harper Lee, who sadly died earlier this year, was a cultural icon both sides of the Atlantic: her novel ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’ one of the greatest and most widely-read books of the 20th-century, inspiring not only literary but political shockwaves. The publication of ‘Go Set A Watchman’ was a global phenomenon that made many of us re-read and re-think Mockingbird. To remember Harper Lee and celebrate all that she stood for, one year on from ‘Go Set A Watchman’, we are thrilled to welcome Holly Bourne, Holly Smale, Anna James and special guests Catherine Johnson and Sarah Sheffi to Piccadilly for an evening of informal discussion on the books and the impact Harper Lee’s work has had on writers and readers alike. All most welcome.
