Tyler Oakley is quite possibly one of the biggest stars to ever come out of the youtube sphere. Between interviewing the One Direction boys, being named as one of Time magazine’s top 30 most influential people on the internet, and even being invited to the White House for a chat with Obama, it’s safe to say that this pastel-haired, bespectacled youtuber is a big deal.
And now, he’s releasing a book with Simon and Schuster – sure to have his 17.4 million social media followers in a right tizzy this evening.
The collection of essays, officially titled ‘BINGE’ is said to give fans a more intimate look at Tyler’s off-screen life, in his usual charmingly quirky way.
He said, ‘While my career has always been about sharing my life, ‘BINGE’ takes a deeper look into my personal past with never-before-told stories that I’ve finally found the courage to share. I’m always looking for ways to connect with my people and I believe that ‘BINGE’ will show a more personal side of myself to those who already know me, while also resonating with a whole new audience.’
However, seeing as it won’t be released until October 20th this year, we’ll be twiddling our thumbs impatiently and clocking up more time on Tyler’s hilarious channel.
