Tuesday Tunes: 5SOS’ mates Hey Violet provide the soundtrack to your summer

We’re back with the fourth installment of our Tuesday Tunes series, following Ruth B, The Girl and the Dreamcatcher and M.O‘s amazing choices.

This week Hey Violet have cooked up a massive playlist of tunes to celebrate the heatwave we’ve been enjoying here in the UK (turns out we can have good weather every now and again. Who knew…?)

Take it away guys!

Hey! We’re Hey Violet and here are our picks for Tuesday Tunes.

Panic! at the Disco – ‘Death of a Bachelor’

Rena: We love this band. It’s cool he was inspired by Frank Sinatra for this track and the vocals are incredible.

Melanie Martinez – ‘Soap’

Miranda: This song brings us back to our headline tour in Europe last year.  We played it before every show, I’m still not sick of it!

Queen – ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’

Nia and Casey: This has to be on the list because it’s our go-to for singing in the car, like in ‘Wayne’s World’.

Borns – ‘Dug my Heart’

Rena: This whole album has a great vibe and these lyrics really speak to me, especially the chorus.

Catfish and the Bottlemen – ‘Fallout’

Casey: You can never go wrong with a good rock tune.  They’re at the top of my list to see live.

Thanks guys. We’ve created a poptastic playlist on Spotify so you guys can listen to all these top tunes together. We’ve also added Hey Violet’s new single ‘Pure’, as well as a few tracks from their new EP ‘Brand New Moves’, which is out now to stream and download now.
