This bizarre ‘Frozen’ conspiracy theory was just confirmed and we are actually gobsmacked

We just can’t let it go!

Do you want to build a conspiracy theory?

Well, since ‘Frozen’ came out in 2013 you have been indulging your inner (and outer) fangirl by joining forums discussing the connection between the characters, their sexuality, their universe, and no stone has been left untouched.

One of the most common theories (most likely inspired by the widely-recognised Pixar Theory which suggests all Pixar films are set in the same universe) is that Disney’s ‘Frozen’ and ‘Tarzan’ have a weird connection.

You remember that in ‘Frozen’ Elsa and Anna’s parents, the King and Queen of Arendell, are supposed to have died at sea during a storm leaving the girls orphaned?

Still make us bawl every time.

But hold your horses because the film’s co-directors, Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, just revealed on Reddit that the King and Queen of Arendell in fact did not die that day at all. WHAT?!

“They got washed up on a shore in a jungle island. The queen gave birth to a baby boy. They build a treehouse. They get eaten by a leopard…”

Hmmm… must be kinda gutting when you survive that ordeal just to be eaten. Yikes!

But wait, doesn’t that storyline sound familiar…?

Quiz: Match the song lyric to the Disney princess

Can you feel the love? 15 times Disney songs gave us too many feels to handle

That’s because you have most definitely heard it before in Disney’s ‘Tarzan’. But if the King and Queen had a son that would mean that…

Anna, Elsa, and Tarzan are all related!

Minds officially blown all the way to 2089.

And it’s a legit theory too because ‘Tarzan’ was also directed by ‘Frozen’s’ Chris Buck. And, in an interview with MTV in 2015, he confirmed that Anna and Elsa’s parents did not die, at least not at sea anyway…

“There was a shipwreck, but they were at sea a little bit longer than we think they were because the mother was pregnant, and she gave birth on the boat to a little boy. They get shipwrecked, and somehow they really washed way far away from the Scandinavian waters, and they end up in the jungle. They end up building a tree house and a leopard kills them, so their baby boy is raised by gorillas. So in my little head, Anna and Elsa’s brother is Tarzan.”

Yes! It’s a great day for conspirators everywhere, from the Royal Family being lizards to JFK having survived his shooting. Today is the day it all comes true. Better watch out for the Queen, then…

  1. I kinda like it when things get linked like this BUT it’s a little sad too because they will never know! They’ll never meet they’re little brother Tarzan… *sniffles*
