The Wanted make their US TV debut!

Ah The Wanted. From interviews with teentoday.co.uk, to scoring their first Number One single. From performing in schools, to gracing arena stages later this year on their brand new tour. From their flip cam diaries, to tearing up the X Factor stage – twice. Who would have known that five boys from such humble beginnings would one day go on to support the likes of Justin Bieber and become one of Britain’s best boy bands? Er… Actually, we did!

The latest achievement that Tom, Max, Nathan, Jay and Siva now have under their belts is performing live on US TV. As part of their attempt to make a name for themselves overseas, the band made their American television debut on The Ellen Show last night – and we’d definitely be lying if we said we didn’t feel a tear in our eye.

Brilliant vocals, screaming fans and big, wide grins. They literally had it all and we genuinely  couldn’t be prouder of them. We’re rooting for the boys to make it big in the US (where so many other UK acts have failed) and we reckon it won’t be long before the whole country gets hit by TW fever…

If you’ve not seen it yet (or you just feel like watching it again), check out The Wanted performing ‘Glad You Came’ on The Ellen Show below:
