At last! This song is going to finally knock Drake off the number one spot. Have you heard it?

Could it be? Is Drake’s record-breaking chart reign FINALLY about to end?

The Canadian king has been sitting pretty at number one for the past 11 WEEKS with ‘One Dance’. But The Official Charts update, released on Monday 27th June, sees Kungs and Cookin’ On 3 Burners’ single ‘This Girl’ snatching the top spot. ‘This Girl’ at the time of writing is 3,500 combined sales ahead of ‘One Dance’.

If it maintains this lead, ‘This Girl’ will be number one on Friday.

However, there’s a catch. ‘This Girl’ has lead the midweek race for the past THREE WEEKS, but somehow, ‘One Dance’ has constantly managed to push past and maintain it’s number one status. Could this FINALLY be the week Kungs and Cookin’ On 3 Burners take the crown? We say YES!

Otherwise, on the Official Charts, the remainder of the top five is the same as last week with Justin Timberlake at number three with ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’, Calvin Harris & Rihanna’s ‘This Is What You Came For’ at number four and Drake & Rihanna completing the top five with ‘Too Good’.

Last Friday, 24th June, Drake officially became the King of the digital era when ‘One Dance’ became the longest-running number one single of the digital age, which officially began in 2004 with the introduction of legal download services. Slay, Drake! But… We think it’s time for a change.
