A popular trend in the film industry seems to be live-action versions of classic fairytale movies we once loved as children, such as Disney’s ‘Cinderella’ and ‘The Jungle Book’. This time, Warner Bros are having a crack at it.
Warner Bros have created ‘The Legend of Tarzan’, except it’s not quite what it would seem. Years after Tarzan has left the jungle and is living life as John Clayton with his wife Jane, he is invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament. What he doesn’t know, is that he is a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge, masterminded by the movie’s villain, Captain Leon Rom. However those behind the plot have no idea what they are about to unleash.
We were kinda hoping Terk and Tantor would burst out into song once they found the camp, but this is just as good. We can’t wait to see how the intense plot turns out and to make it even better, it stars Alexander Skarsgård, Margot Robbie, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson and Djimon Hounsou!
