WHO ARE THE FOOO?
The Foo are the best thing to come out of Sweden since the Ikea meatball. And they dance better too. They released an EP of a few songs last year, and are set to release their debut album ‘Off The Grid’ soon.
OHHH REALLY? AND WHAT ARE THEIR NAMES?
Their names are Omar, Felix, Oscar and Oscar 2. Or, to be less cruel, Oscar E and Oscar M.
SO WHY SHOULD I LOVE THEM?
First up, they dance. Like really dance. The sort of energetic shape pulling that’d cause people like us and you to get an injury. Second, they’re having fun. Lots of actual, we-love-this-and-we’re-really-going-for-it-fun, no seriousface here. And third, this video. Every, single, second:
But especially 1.25.
Well it’s not just moves that’ll-have-an-eye-out-if-they’re-not-careful; they know how to slow it downnnn too. Just look at this lyric video for their song ’97 Ways’ featuring their team, and fans, aka Foooers. Have you got any tissues? WE SAID, WHERE ARE THE BLOODY TISSUES?
Yes. Don’t go on their Instagram if you’ve got plans for the next week. There’s loads of photos that’ll make you go awwwwww or wowwww or hubbbbaahubbbbbbbaongdingd. That means nipple, hugging, and silly trousers. You can see more photos from their MP! Twitter take over.
FINALLY, WHAT’S NEXT?
The boys’ latest single is the upbeat, unstoppable little brother to ‘I Gotta Feeling’, ‘King of the Radio’. The video features nuisance-causing and wall-flipping, and gets an A+ from us. There’s no UK release yet, but you can enjoy it all the same:
