We put our favourite YA characters through ‘The Selection’ and here’s who came out on top

With Kiera Cass’s ‘The Crown’ completing the series, it feels like a bittersweet goodbye.

So to keep the spirit of ‘The Selection’ alive that little bit longer we matched up some of our favourite characters from across YA fiction… But do you agree with our ships?

fireandroar

The wild and enigmatic Fire from Kristen Cashore’s ‘Fire’… Would she choose the gentle giant Roar from Veronica Rossi’s ‘Under the Never Sky’? We think they’d be a pretty balanced match. (And too cute!)

ladaandthedarkling

Kiersten White’s ‘And I Darken’ will hit shelves this summer and trust us, be prepared. Lada is fierce, and a little bit scary. That’s why we think that with The Darkling from ‘Shadow and Bone’ they would make a terrifying power couple.

zoeandronan

Sydney Sage’s sister, Zoe, from Richelle Mead’s ‘Bloodlines’ and Ronan from Maggie Stiefvater’s ‘The Raven Cycle’. They both have had tricky family situations. Wouldn’t a fanfic of this match totally rock it? Max drama though, probs.

harrietandwade

The ultimate puzzle-solving, all-knowing, pub quiz winning duo. We reckon this pair would make a team to be reckoned with. Game over, dudes.

lunaandklaus

Luna Lovegood and Klaus Baudelaire? A quirky couple to end all quirky couples. Matched.

We could keep going, and going, and going… who would you match together? Tweet us @maximumpopbooks
