Didn’t get to see Beyoncé on tour? West End musical ‘The Bodyguard’ is the next best thing


You may have heard your parents speak of something called ‘The Bodyguard’. Well it’s a film turned theatre show that’s come to the West End and it’s the perfect play for any pop lover.

It features pop star Beverley Knight as lead role Rachel Marron, a superstar with a threatening stalker after her, eek! Throw in another talented singer. West End star Rachel John plays Nicki, Rachel’s sister who is also dreaming of stardom and is intensely jealous of her sister’s career and life.

The show begins with an ‘X Factor’ style intro followed by an amazing high-energy performance to get you straight in the mood for a magical night. It’s just like you’re watching one of the biggest names in music.

To make the show even better, there’s tunes that you’ll definitely know. Including Whitney Houston hits ‘I Will Always Love You’, ‘How Will I Know’ and ‘I Wanna Dance with Somebody’.

The show is full of witty lines, a ton of sass and lighthearted humour. This musical brings the 1992 story right up to date.
