Taylor Swift is on the cover of the May 2016 issue of Vogue, and you might just pass by the newsstand without even realizing it’s her. With super blonde hair cut into a shaggy bob, the only recognizable quintessential Taylor-esque feature is her red lipstick.

In the issue, Taylor reveals that her mom wanted her to be a competitive horseback rider, but all Taylor really wanted to do was music and theatre. “I worked up the nerve at age twelve to tell her I didn’t really love it like she loved it,” Taylor says. Tbh, we’re pretty glad she chose her own path in that regard.
She also says that when she wants to avoid photographers and press, Colorado is a good place to escape. “If I go somewhere and stay in a house, nobody knows,” she adds.

And when asked what she’s planning to do with the rest of her life, Taylor says, “I just decided that after the past year, with all of the unbelievable things that happened . . . I decided I was going to live my life a little bit without the pressure on myself to create something.”
