Taylor Swift is being the strongest girl she can be while dealing with her mother’s cancer diagnosis on tour.

Only a few months ago, Taylor Swift announced her mother was diagnosed with cancer and we’re sure it’s incredibly hard for her especially being on tour. However, Swift is being the role model she always is and never letting her fans down by performing some of the greatest stadium shows ever.

At one of her recent shows, she sang a song called ‘Ronan’ that was written for a boy with childhood cancer back in 2012. The mother of the boy was in the crowd, and Taylor dedicated the song to her and stated how much she learned from Ronan and his family about childhood cancer, and cancer in general .

She the proceeded to say how cancer has hit her close to home, and encourages fans to make sure their parents get tested for cancer on the original post on her Tumblr about her mothers condition. She writes “Your parents may be too busy juggling everything they’ve got going on to go to the doctor, and maybe you reminding them to get checked for cancer could possibly lead to an early diagnosis and an easier battle”.

We encourage all of our MP! readers to make sure you, and your parents are getting properly checked for all different types of cancers, because earlier detection can save a life. Once again, lets give it up for TSwift and send her all the love in the world.
