Did Taylor Swift inspire a track on The 1975’s new album?

According to The 1975’s Matty Healy, there’s a song on the band’s new album inspired by our queen, Taylor Swift.

You may remember that Matty and Swifty were linked back in 2014 after Matty told during a radio interview that the pair had swapped numbers.

“I met Taylor Swift, that was really nice. We exchanged numbers. Let’s see what happens.” he told Shazam Top 20 host Angus O’Loughlin.

But then, it seems that she never called.

A friend of Matty has told American celebrity website Page Six that: “She [Taylor Swift] may have inspired some of it, [but the song] is about more than one girl.”

The lyrics of the track, ‘A Change of Heart’, read: “You said I’m full of diseases/Your eyes were full of regret/And then you took a picture of your salad/And put it on the Internet.”

What d’ya reckon then? Let us know at @maximumpop.
