Stripes are leading the way with a BAME YA anthology!

And it’s about time, too

Last year, Stripes made the book world a warm and fuzzy place with their Christmas anthology ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas’ featuring legnds such as Juno Dawson, Non Pratt, Holly Bourne and Lisa Williamson. The sale of each copy gave money to Crisis – a charity that helps the homeless.

And now they’re back with an incredible line up of authors in a BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) YA anthology. We are BESIDE OURSELVES with excitement!

‘A Change is Gonna Come’ will feature brand new stories from so many faves: Tanya Byrne, Inua Ellams, Catherine Johnson, Patrice Lawrence, Ayisha Malik, Irfan Master, Nikesh Shukla and Lemn Sissay PLUS an opportunity for new BAME writers to be a part of it.

How cool is that?!

Publishing is lacking diversity at every level at the moment and Stripes is leading the way with a huge step in the right direction.

We can’t wait to read this anthology.

‘A Change is Gonna Come’ will be published 3rd August 2017 by Stripes.

Share your excitement with @StripesBooks and #ChangeBook
