As the boys of One Direction have grown, their music videos have too. Starting off with a reasonably simplistic video for their debut single, to then moving forward with more complex ideas and visuals.
We’ve seen them ride around on a double-decker bus and doing that dance move from The Inbetweeners for ‘One Thing’…
Thousands of their childhood photos strung up around a set for ‘Story of My Life’…
Their hilarious transformations in the ‘Best Song Ever’ video…
– really, their music videos do not disappoint.
Now though, the boys are planning the release of the music video to accompany their latest single, ‘Steal My Girl’, the audio of which will be available for download come October 12th.
Ben Winston, who worked with 1D on producing ‘Best Song Ever’ and ‘Story of My Life’, has said of the upcoming video, “You should expect the unexpected with this one. It’s weird and wonderful.”
Winston has also noted the importance of fans’ reactions to the video, saying that, “The fans are so passionate about the boys and they care deeply about them, so I really care a lot about their opinion and hope they love everything we do.”
Way to leave us in suspense! Good to hear they’ve got our best intentions at heart though.
What do you think – hating the wait, or just thrilled with a few hints?
