Alarm Pop: Jessie J, Rixton and Jhene Aiko team up on ‘Sorry To Interrupt’ for Pop Tarts.

When she’s not dressing up as a cheese biscuit for Tuc adverts, endorsement queen Jessie J is enlisting the help of her mates Rixton and Jhene Aiko to record a song for American cereal snack Pop Tarts and the result is blooming tasty.

‘Sorry To Interrupt’ is a full of sass, catchy R&B pop banger and was recorded in support of the cereal’s Crazy Good Summer campaign, and if this song is anything to go by then it seems that this summer will indeed be a crazy good one for pop music.

The track sounds like it’s waltzed straight off a late 90s R&B album and we are absolutely loving the throwback vibes that we get from it. Jessie’s voice slays the chorus of the promo track whilst Jhene’s cool voice soothes through the verses and Jake Roche’s vocals balance it all out.

If we had to compare ‘Sorry To Interrupt’ to a Pop Tarts flavour we’d definitely have to go for S’mores because, well, doesn’t everybody love S’mores?

No dull pop stars allowed.

Little Mix add a drop of Cahill to their ‘Black Magic’ in dance remix of new single.

Fifth Harmony and Little Mix don’t hate each other. Actually, they empower each other thank you very much.
