Shawn Mendes was literally the life of the party at his gig in London last night

Somewhere in this crowd is MP! who took it upon themselves to go to Shawn Mendes‘ gig in London last night. It was a difficult task but someone had to do it.  For the good of music itself.

#ShawnWorldTourLondon day 2 can't believe how amazing the shows were ! ❤️

Shawn. Oh Shawn. Oh Shawny Shawn Shawn.

We didn’t think it was possible to crush on someone this bad. Like seriously, it’s reached that level where we’re starting to have chest pains. Someone call the doctor cause we’re gonna need a whole lotta stitches here stat!

No need to act like we love him because we’re just kids in love.

Like really in love…

Shawn Mendes has been super busy lately with his headline worldwide tour which has taken him all over Europe and the USA so far, as well as promoting his new single ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ with Camila Cabello AND working on his upcoming second album. Slow down boy!

Shawn kicked things off last night with ‘Something Big,’ which had the crowd on their feet from the very beginning.

And the hits kept coming with ‘Life of the Party’ and ‘Aftertaste’, which Shawn finished off by singing completely unplugged. He’s so awesome he doesn’t even need a mic.

Crafty old Shawn snuck in a few cheeky covers. We loved his mash up of ‘Kids in Love’ and ‘I Want You Back’ by The Jackson Five, and ‘Never Be Alone’ and Plain White T’s ‘Hey There Delilah’, but we literally freaked out when he made us work, work, work, work, work.

We were also treated to some tracks off the new album: ‘Ruin,’ ‘Like This’ and ‘Three Empty Words.’ We can’t wait to get our hands on his new stuff.

Of course he saved the best til’ last. He literally brought the house down with stitches. Goodnight Hammersmith.

So Shawn Mendes is the only thing we can talk about now. We are officially obsessed. If you think Shawn is the ultimate #BFgoals let us know @maximumpop.

Reviewer Roundup: ‘The Square Root of Summer’ “was just a genuinely fantastic book.”
