Exciting news for fans of manpop – Robbie Williams is gearing up for a musical comeback this autumn!
Take The Crown, Rob’s ninth solo album (and first solo record since the phenomo-success of the big Take That reunion) will be released on November 5, a week after lead single ‘Candy’, a song he’s worked on with none other than Gary Barlow OBE. We swear those two just can’t keep away from one another. If they weren’t so hellbent on creating brilliant pop we’d have to put them on separate sides of the class.
The former boybander has also dabbled into the world of fashion, recently launching his own menswear label, Farrell. Talking to The Sun, the Robster explained:
“I live in America, where pop stars and actors all seem to do a multitude of things. I pretty much thought I could do a clothing line. I didn’t know how we would, but we’ve done it.”
While Robbie’s busy becoming the next Versace, we’re loving Angel instead.
Just kidding, RW – welcome back to planet pop!
