Rihanna proves that work, work, work, work, work pays off with new U.S. chart record

Thanks to her latest duet with Drake, ‘Work’, Rihanna now has the third most U.S. number one singles in Billboard chart history.

‘Work’ is Rihanna‘s fourteenth U.S. number one single, meaning that she has now surpassed Michael Jackson who has achieved thirteen number one singles on the Billboard Hot 100.

Her other Billboard number ones include the UK number one singles ‘Umbrella’, ‘Take a Bow’, ‘Only Girl (In The World)’, ‘What’s My Name?’, ‘We Found Love’, ‘Diamonds’ and Eminem’s ‘The Monster’.

The only artists to achieve more Billboard number one singles than Rihanna are The Beatles, who have 20, and Mariah Carey, who has 18.
