Rihanna keeps it simple and steamy in ‘Kiss It Better’ video

A couple of days back we announced that Rihanna was releasing two new videos for new singles ‘Kiss It Better’ and ‘Needed Me’ and yesterday Rihanna graced us with the first of the music video duo. Ding! Ding! Round One is officially underway.

First impression is that it’s very simple and understated. Qualities not often associated with our Barbadian Queen of Controversy. It goes without saying that Rihanna is in a state of undress, but actually we would go as far to say that she’s pretty clothed for this one. There’s even a jacket thrown in to cover her modesty. The video itself is a monochromatic affair with lots of artsy camera angles like so:

There’s a hell of a lot of wind machine and even some billowing sheets. MP! is a fan of the billowing.

Of course, there is the obligatory writhing. What would a 2016 music video be without writhing?

There’s this dodgy dice moment…what could that represent?

And sashay away. The proper way to end a music video.
