HOLD US. American band R5 announce headline London show for October.

Our favourite siblings (and their friend) R5 have announced that they’re coming back to the UK this fall autumn and to celebrate their return they’ve announced a headline show in one of our favourite London venues. Screaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam.

R5 will play a show at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush empire on October 13th (it’s a Tuesday, in case you were wondering) and we cannot freakin’ wait.

If you’re not aware of whose these American pop rockers are then you’ve been living under a rock but not to worry, we’ve got a little bit of background on them right here for you…

Led by vocalist/rhythm guitarist Ross Lynch, R5 came together in 2009 and is comprised of Lynch’s siblings Riker (bass/vocals), Rocky (lead guitar/vocals) and Rydel (keyboard/vocals) and friend Ellington “Ratliff” (drums/vocals). R5 has rapidly emerged as an exciting new voice in the world of pop-rock. The band has moved one step closer to world domination with the release of their much-anticipated first single “Let’s Not Be Alone Tonight” off their upcoming sophomore album, Sometime Last Night, the follow up to their hit debut album LOUDER, which rocketed to No. 1 on iTunes in 10 countries upon its September 24, 2013 release.

Sound quote good, don’t they? That’s because they are.

The band have already performed in London and even made a Vevo series about their time if good ole’ England. Check out their performance of ‘(I Can’t) Forget About You)’ here:

Tickets for R5’s show at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire are available from Friday June 12 at 10am and can be bought here.

Woah, we’re going to Ibiza! Well, we’re not but Mark Ronson and a few other perfect popstars are.

Only The Young are proper popstars with an actual music video and we love it we do, we do, we do.
