It’s been 3 days since Donald Trump was voted as America’s President-elect, who’s campaign saw a dramatic rise in hate towards minorities, POC, the LGBT communities and women, and the people’s reaction has been terrifying.
Shaun King is a writer for an NYC newspaper and a champion of the #BlackLivesMatter campaign and he’s been RTing the many horrors that have taken place since Trump won. Scariest of all? Most of the people involved are kids.
Just as during his presidential campaign, the target has been immigrants, Muslims and LGBT people and it’s sickening.
This is NOT OKAY.
Middle-schoolers – these kids are all under 14. Terrifying.
Why has hate been allowed to triumph?
‘Reign of fear’ indeed.

It’s disgusting, and heartbreaking for those targeted kids.
We don’t really have any words left.
Swastikas. Actual swastikas.
Horrible, horrible, horrible.
We’re 3 days into the four-year reign of a president who is openly racist, sexist, bigoted and misogynistic – it’s almost as if people who share these beliefs have gone ‘Well, if the president can say it then so can I!’ and that’s an incredibly dangerous thing.
This is not okay and we’ll fight it all the way – together.
Stick together. Look after each other. Take care of yourself.
