QUIZ: Do you know which pop stars ACTUALLY wrote these massive hits?

You won’t believe who’s been writing all your fave songs

The chances are you spend approximately 4678 hours a day belting out your favourite songs. We definitely do and aren’t afraid to have a mid-morning dance party to ‘You Gotta Not’ by Little Mix and ‘This Is What You Came For’ by Calvin Harris and Rihanna. How well do you know all those ridiculously catchy hits, though? Would you be able to tell us which other famous pop stars actually wrote them?

Regular readers of MP! will know we’ve been discussing songwriting a lot this month. The stationery brand, BIC®, are trying to discover some fresh, new songwriters in their brilliant BIC® 4 COLOURS™ Write and Shine competition and we here at MP! have teamed up with them to help spread the word.

If you’re the lucky winner, you’ll snap up the incredible opportunity to head into the studio with YouTuber MusicalBethan and other music pros to produce and record your song. You’ll also have the chance to perform your song at The Big Feastival on Saturday 26 August 2017.

Like the sound of it? All the details you need to enter the competition can be found at the My BIC Pen page on Facebook. But before you enter, we here at MP! suggest you swat up on which massive pop stars penned some of your favourite hits.

Let’s go, go, go!

How did you do? Let us know your score in the comments below. You can also find out more information about the BIC® ‘Write and Shine’ competition by clicking here, and get your very own BIC® 4 COLOURS™ Shine pen here.
