Pixie Lott ‘Nasty’: Download or Ditch?

Pixie Lott is back, ladies and gentlemen. After a bit of a hiatus following the release of her second album ‘Young, Foolish, Happy’ in 2011, Pixie recently came back with buzz single (and really rather good song) ‘Heart Cry’ and also featured on a new version of ‘Wild Heart’ by The Vamps. However she’s now bringing out the big guns and releasing ‘Nasty’, a sassy, retro tinged r&b number that wouldn’t sound out of place on a Christina Aguilera album.

We previewed the track earlier this week along with a snippet of the music video and it looks like Pixie might be channeling her inner Miley Cyrus as well. The song itself is pure R&B throwback and the Christina comparisons can’t be ignored: especially since Ms. Aguilera did in fact record a demo of the song which was reportedly going to be used for the soundtrack to her 2010 movie debut ‘Burlesque’. But it doesn’t matter what we think – what do you guys make of it? Download or ditch?
