9 Pop star performances you HAVE to see this week

Do you love live music? Want to get a little closer to your favourite artists? Well, just because we care about you guys so much, the good fairies at MP! have carefully spooled through tons of recent performances of current chart hits from pop heavyweights and made a list of the very best ones. No you don’t need to thank us. Just exalt.

  1. Ariana Grande – Dangerous Woman  (A Cappella)

First up is this killer early Easter gift from our favourite Scream Queen Ariana Grande. After being mercilessly butchered in our fave TV show last autumn, she has seemingly risen from the dead (in true Easter form) reborn as a truly dangerous woman. But she paid a terrible price: She has to wear floppy leather bunny ears for the rest of time. OH THE HUMANITY!

2. Troye Sivan – Youth (Acoustic)

Gorgeous Troye shows off his vulnerable side in this stripped back performance.

3) Zara Larsson – Lush Life (Live Lounge)

We always knew Sweden’s current darling Zara Larsson could sing, but DAMN!

4) Selena Gomez – Hands to Myself

If this performance doesn’t get you hot under the collar we don’t know what will! Lucky backing dancers is all we’re gonna say.

5) DNCE – Cake by the Ocean

We want some of Joe Jonas’ Cake by the Ocean.

6) Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello – I Know What You Did Last Summer

It was always going to be a perfect moment when one of our fave girlband members and the smokin’ hot Shawn Mendes got together!

7) Little Mix & Jason Derulo – Secret Love Song

Their powerhouse vocals will have you in tears.

8) Birdy – Wild Horses

Takin’ it down a notch with a bit o’ Birdy.

9) Sia – Cheap Thrills

Just Sia kicking ass as usual and getting us pumped for the summer in the process.

Which is your fave performance? Any other live performances rocked your world recently? Be sure to tweet us at @Maximumpop to let us know your thoughts.

Now head of all things content, David takes being a music fanboy to a whole new level, and can often be found dancing like there's nobody watching to 'Shout Out To My Ex', obsessing over Lauren Jauregui and defending Taylor Swift's honour.

David once appeared on TV in Armenia. Apparently, "it was awesome".
