LISTEN: Pentatonix reinvented classic tunes by Justin Bieber, Meghan Trainor and Daft Punk at their London gig last night and we’re officially obessed

They say there’s no rest for the wicked. Well they don’t come more wicked than MP! and PTX were keeping us up all last night with their ‘Can’t Sleep Love’…

We’ve been loving the absolute babes that are Pentatonix for years now and last week we gave away two pairs of tickets to see them at Brixton Academy. Hope you had a great time @gracetheillest and @_ophyy!

Being supremely wicked as we are, we sneakily kept a ticket back so that we could go and check out what all the fuss was about and our socks were well and truly blown off. Not a sock left in sight.

PTX are known for their amazing acapella cover versions, in fact they first burst onto the scene with their versions of ‘Somebody that I Used to Know” and ‘We Are Young’ in 2012, and last night they blew all our minds with this mash-up of Justin Bieber‘s “Love Yourself” and ‘Where R U Now?”.

Then they continued the onslaught of amazingness with this version of Meghan Trainor‘s smash hit ‘NO’, which they arranged especially for this tour.

And they also found time to recreate their viral YouTube video “Daft Punk” which combines all Daft Punk’s biggest hits, including ‘Get Lucky’ (which still sounds box fresh guys).

But it wasn’t all covers. PTX also chucked in a healthy amount of original material, including their most popular original song, 2015’s ‘Can’t Sleep Love’.

What a fearsome fivesome. Tweet us @maximumpop if you love a bit of PTX.

David once appeared on TV in Armenia. Apparently, "it was awesome".
