‘It’s so bright and fun!’ MP!er and book blogger Emma reviews Paige Toon’s ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’.

Life as the undercover daughter of a rock god isn’t going to be easy. How will Jessie adjust to her old boring life again after spending her summer living it up with her dad in LA? With tough decisions ahead (and not just choosing between two hot boys), can she cope juggling her two very different lives? Summer may be over, but Jessie’s story is just beginning…

MP!er and book blogger Emma applied to review Paige Toon’s ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ through our You Review section and she was a lucky one. Find out her thoughts here.

Had you read the first book in the Jessie Jefferson series? Yes but I think even if I hadn’t there was enough backstory that I would have still enjoyed the book.

What did you think of the cover? I LOVED IT. It’s so bright and fun. It just oozes with Jessie’s personality. Jessie has to juggle a couple of boys in this book. Who do you ship her with? This is a tough one. In the first book I was devastated after what happened with Jack but I think the two of them could make it work. Tom is a real sweetheart though.

i knew you were troubleIf Jessie was your BFF for the day, what would you get up to? We would go shopping in the morning after that we’d go to the Ivy for lunch and maybe chill at the beach for a bit checking out the guys.

Did you maybe not like anything? No.

Would you recommend to friends? Absolutely. I’m always recommending Paige’s books to people.
