1 sold out world tour, 1 ‘Blank Space’, 1 year, 1 album, 1 ‘1989’. Today marks one year since Taylor Swift released her most recent, and most successful album of her career. It included some of her best jams like ‘Blank Space’, ‘Style’, and of course ‘Bad Blood’. Not only is ‘Bad Blood’ an amazing song, but it had one of the coolest and most star-studded music videos…ever.
To give you an idea, Taylor sold 1.287 million copies of ‘1989’ in one week, and performed in 55 cities selling over 1,672,289 tickets with over a month left of the tour.
Fans are celebrating via Twitter with hashtags, as well as listening to the album on repeat. Tonight, Taylor is celebrating in Miami, Florida. The year anniversary of ‘1989’ also marks a year of the ‘1989 Sessions’, which were private performances for fans all around the world that Taylor put on in her own home(s). She let fans listen to the album first, with her, and cooked them all food and sweets.
