Excuse us for a second, Directioners. We’re sobbing like maniacs over here. Why, you ask? Well, it turns out that a potential One Direction reunion could be on the cards.
But don’t go cracking out the party poppers just yet because according to reports 1D could reform without Harry Styles.
Simon Cowell recently spoke to The Sun about One Direction‘s future.
Despite all five members having incredibly successful solo careers, the music powerhouse thinks that the boys will eventually grow tired of it and bring 1D back to life.
“You know, it’s fun being out there on your own but what I hope is going to happen is that they remember now how much fun it was being in a group,” he told The Sun.
“I always believe that you don’t make rules, you break the rules. So there’s nothing to stop them, if they want to, getting together for a tour, for an album. I made it absolutely clear, obviously, ‘We’re in’,” he continued.
When The Sun asked Simon whether Harry was too big to return to One Direction, Simon said that everyone’s fave boyband “could” return without Harry but “it wouldn’t be the same”.
Say what?! 1D would never be the same without Harry. That’s something we can all agree on, right guys?
