Date your fave celeb on V-Day! One Direction, Justin Bieber, Union J – here’s how

Valentine’s Day is all very well for loved-up couples, but what if your one true love happens to be performing at Wembley on the 14th of February, or busy filming a new music video? It’s hard when your Valentine happens to be a pop sensation, whether it’s Justin Bieber, a member of Union J or all five members of One Direction… But fret not, because there are loads of ways you can celebrate V-Day with your fave celeb, even if they can’t make it in person this year.

Get your mate to don a mask of your fave boyband member and take her (and the mask) out for dinner. Make her wear this Zayn mask so you can lovingly gaze upon his beautiful face over a candlelit dinner.

Buy a cardboard cut-out of your crush and take it on a tour of your home town. You could grab a coffee in your favourite café, then pose for photos outside the town hall. Just make sure it’s not raining.

If it’s too cold outside, have a cosy night in with One Direction instead. Snuggle up under a blanket covered with their faces, in your room plastered with One Direction posters and stick a DVD of their concert on.

Turn your bedroom into a club by dimming the lights and putting some tunes on. Who’s that in the corner? Oh it’s a lifesize cut-out of George from Union J and I think he wants to dance with you…

You might not be able to talk to the Biebster but he can talk to through his Twitter account. Spend V-Day scrolling through Justin Bieber’s online words of wisdom and it will be like he’s right there with you, chatting away… almost.

Yes, it would be nice to spend the day with Justin Bieber or Harry Styles, but you should never forget your friends. Organise a boy-free event, even if it’s just going to the cinema or a shopping trip. But make sure you’re wearing these One Direction gloves and woolly hat. You can’t forget about the boys completely.
