One Direction ‘Kiss You’ – the video FINALLY arrives!

After months of torturous teasing sneak peeks and pictures, the One Direction boys have finally premiered their video for ‘Kiss You’. Clearly you lot were waiting for it – it’s already picked up 28m views in just one week. Crikey lads!

As you well know ‘Kiss You’ is an amazing little pop song in which ‘classic’ boybands (think the Beatles and the Beach Boys rather than Backstreet Boys and 5ive) are re-imagined for the 21st century. The song has all the elements of a 60s boyband tune: heavenly vocals, bouncing melodies, old-school rock and roll swagger, surf-guitar and a spectacular “na-na-na-na” section sung by sparkly-eyed boys next door.

We see them bring those 50s and 60s influences out as they take on ‘Jailhouse Rock’, ‘Surfin’ USA’, ‘South Pacific’, a ski scene and a car scene reminiscent of 1960s cinema, combined with their cheesy dance-moves, immaculate hair and sexy smiles. Plus, the nipples are out. We repeat – THE NIPPLES ARE OUT.

The single and the album ‘Take Me Home’ are out now! Go get ’em!
