Murs VS Swift: “Write something new that isn’t about Harry”.

Taylor Swift is infamous for publicising her failed relationships and their intimate details through her smash hit singles and chart-topping albums. Of course, it’s really too bad for the guys who get named-and-shamed – and apparently, Ollie Murs sympathises.

No one has really got it worse for Taylor’s not-so-subtle lyrical finger-pointing than One Direction’s Harry Styles. It was common knowledge that Taylor’s mega-selling track ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ was inspired by Hazza, but now there is speculation as to whether her latest song ‘Out of the Woods’ is also inspired by her turbulent relationship with him.

In reaction to these allegations, cheeky chappy Olly Murs told Australian radio station, 2DayFM, “Come on, let it go. Write something new that isn’t about Harry.” Then he added, laughing, “Bless him, it’s been like two years and he’s still getting lashed out isn’t he?”

Ooh – he’s got a bit of a point there, Taylor.

What do you think? Has Harry had enough of Taylor’s name-and-shaming, or is Olly out of order? Is Taylor’s honesty not one of the best parts of her songs? Let us know your thoughts.
