Obama is a cool cookie. And whether it’s poking a bit of fun at himself (thanks, Obama) or dropping the mic at his last White House correspondents’ dinner, he does things with the kinda style we haven’t seen from a politician to date.
And if you thought he was going to just leave quietly, you’re sorely mistaken. Heck no. Michelle Obama is hosting the party to end all parties. Sorry Trump.
The guest list for this shindig reads more like a red carpet extravaganza than a Presidential farewell, with rumours of Oprah Winfrey and Beyonce, George Lucas and JJ Abrams, maybe even Paul McCartney and Samuel L. Jackson.
Will Beyonce and Jay Z perform? Probs. Will it be off the chain? Without a doubt. Despite Obama telling one young fan that it would be a “grown up” affair, we reckon it’s gonna be LIT AF!
Meanwhile, in Trump HQ, they’ve been busy planning a party of their own. His inauguration, no less. But failing to secure any big names to perform has us thinking his efforts look more like this:
Would he have had more luck with the old pros? Those performers near and dear but sadly departed?

Obama is owning it, once again, and even though we won’t know who’s on that guest list until it happens, we’re 100% sure it’s going to be a star-studded event to remember. The perfect farewell. Obama out.
