YOU REVIEW: MP!er Kathleeen shares her thoughts on “Night School:Resistance’ the fourth book in the International bestselling series by CJ Daugherty.
Describe the plot of Night School: Resistance in a tweet – less than 140 characters please!
Allie returns, friendships are tested, the spy is found, Sylvain and Carter get caught in the middle and everyone risks everything to win.
Have you read the first books in the Night School series?
Yes, they are all just as amazing as Resistance.
What genre would you class the book as?
What was the best bit?
I feel the best bit is when Sylvain tells Allie “I love you, Allie. I always will. Even though I know…” The reason I think it’s the best bit is because it sums up the feelings of himself Allie and Carter. Each love Allie and she loves them both too. Sylvain knows Allie loves Carter, as does Allie but she is just been confused and Carter also knows because he loves her too. [MP! Note: Ooer we’re sensing a love triangle here]
Anything you didn’t like?
I don’t like how little is seen of Lucas lately, I love him! Why have they stopped trusting him?
Would you recommend the Night School series to your friends?
I would definitely recommend the books to friends.
Do you think it would appeal to girls or boys more? Or both?
I feel that the books appeal to both genders, however because of the love situation I think boys would be less inclined to read them than girls, but both would still really enjoy the books.
Anything else you’d like to tell us about the book?
I really like how the end is almost known before that part is even reached by the way things are said throughout the book that will only happen in the end like the parley. Yet it is still thrilling and full of twists you wouldn’t see or expect.
