Our lovely MP!er Mia shares her thoughts on Non Pratt’s second YA novel ‘Remix’. THREE days. TWO best mates. ONE music festival. ZERO chance of everything working out…

MiaName: Mia

Age: 15

What is your dream festival line up? One Direction, Fall Out Boy, All Time Low, Kodaline, Mayday Parade and Ed Sheeran.

Can you tell us the plot of ‘Remix’ in a Tweet please? Two best friends go to a music festival to get over their exes. Chaos, lies, love and friendship ensue!

Would the cover make you pick up the book in a shop? Yes! It’s so bright and colorful so it’d definitely catch my eye, and the image really intrigues me.

Did you feel like you could relate to Kaz and Ruby’s friendship? I’ve never really had the kind of friendship Kaz and Ruby had so I couldn’t fully relate, but I still really enjoyed reading about it. Their friendship was really sweet but still realistic.

Have you read anything by Non Pratt before? I haven’t, but now I really want to read some more of her work. ‘Trouble’ sounds really, really interesting.

Remix_book sleeveWhat was the best bit? Oooh…that’s a hard question! I really enjoyed the descriptions of the acts Ruby and Kaz were watching; they made me feel like I was in the crowd and listening to the music myself.

Was there anything you didn’t like? Sometimes I thought the plot could be a little bit over dramatic and unrealistic, but overall it was a really fun read and I totally recommend it!

No dull pop stars allowed.

Zoella loves it but there’s even more reasons to read Amy Alward’s ‘The Potion Diaries’.
