It’s time to kick off another round of MP!’s Euro 2016 competition.
(Literally us at every sport ever).
So far, over 10,000 of you have voted in the last two rounds. In this round, you’ve got the choice of a promising German popstar, a reggae-pop singer from Poland, a former Voice contestant from Northern Ireland and a Ukrainian dance duo.
Don’t forget to vote for your favourite below. Also let us know who you’re supporting by tweeting us at @maximumpop.
🇩🇪 Germany: Lukas Rieger
Lukas Rieger is a 17 year old popstar from Hannover in Germany. He first became famous on ‘The Voice Kids’, but went on to get millions of views on YouTube and over 800,000 fans on Musical.ly. He’s inspired by Justin Bieber and Kygo, which you can definitely hear on ‘Elevate’. Basically, this is everything we need to tide us over until the next Justin album. Plus, his hair colour is goals.
🇵🇱 Poland: Margaret
Margaret is one of those popstars who is so good that they only need one name. She started her career back in 2013, and has since gone of to have four big hits in Poland. Her latest single, ‘Cool Me Down’ (which sounds like ‘Hey Mama’ meets Rihanna), went 2x Platinum in her home country, as well as being a hit in Sweden. Aside from being great, it’s also an amazing song to strut to.
🇬🇧 Northern Ireland: Leah McFall
Remember that really cool girl from series two of ‘The Voice’? Her name is Leah McFall, who is from Northern Ireland. Her audition performance of ‘R.I.P’ has been viewed nearly nine million times, and she went Top 10 in 2013 with her version of ‘I Will Survive’. Her proper debut single, ‘Home’, still sounds as fresh today as it did when it was released. Plus, we want every outfit in the video.
🇺🇦 Ukraine: Time & Glass
Why have one amazing Ukrainian popstar when you can have two? ????? ? ?????? (which translates to Time & Glass) are a Nadya and Positive, who joined forces after being soloists. The video for song ‘??? 505′ has been viewed over 90 million times, which is more than 1D’s Carpool Karaoke. Their music takes the house trend and makes it super pop, and we can’t wait to dance to it all summer.
