After the spectacular coronation of Lauren Jauregui and Marian Hill as the MP! Top Ten Christmas No.1 of 2016, our weekly chart vote took a little break for the holidays.

Everyone needs breather, dude.

We sang, we danced, we got amazingly drunk, but now the MP! Top Ten is back and we mean business. We got over 20,000 votes on the MP! Top Ten towards the end of last year, which means this is actually a massive, bloody deal.

But enough of our musings, now it’s over to you guys. We’re gonna let you do your thing and get to the serious business of showing your faves all the love in the world. Give them the gift of an MP! Top Ten number one single.

Vote for your fave tunes in the poll below and we will add the most popular tracks to our MP! Top Ten playlist, which you can follow on Spotify here. And yes, you can vote multiple times!

Voting closes at 5pm on Thursday 12th December. If you have any suggestions for tracks you would like to see added you can tweet us @maximumpop using the hashtag #MPTopTen.

Having studied Russian and Spanish at the University of Leeds, David moved to Moscow to work in the education sector. Upon returning to UK soil, David initially immersed himself in the wonderful world of MP! as a music writer.

Now head of all things content, David takes being a music fanboy to a whole new level, and can often be found dancing like there's nobody watching to 'Shout Out To My Ex', obsessing over Lauren Jauregui and defending Taylor Swift's honour.

David once appeared on TV in Armenia. Apparently, "it was awesome".
