McFly have had to postpone their UK tour. Get well soon, Harry!

Just as we were picking out our concert outfits ready for next month to see McFly on tour – we find out that they’ve had to postpone it. Boo!

A spokesperson for McFly stated “Harry Judd has an acute disc herniation at C6/7 level and sadly cannot perform this June as he needs treatment and a period of rest.”

We’ve never heard of an “acute disc herniation at C6/7 level” before but it sounds painful. Poor Harry!

His bandmate Tom Fletcher also sent his apologies to the fans, with a few witty digs at the rest of the McFly lads thrown in for good measure: “Sorry we’ve had to move the tour. Completely Harry’s fault. All complaints to be sent to @mcflyharry. On a more positive note, it gives Danny more time to learn the words to our songs. See you all in September.”

The new dates have been confirmed for September and are as follows:

September 2016:

  • Monday 12 – Manchester Academy
    Tuesday 13 – Manchester Academy
    Wednesday 14 – Manchester Academy
  • Friday 16 – Glasgow O? Academy
    Saturday 17 – Glasgow O? Academy
    Sunday 18 – Glasgow O? Academy
  • Wednesday 21 – Birmingham O? Academy
    Thursday 22 – Birmingham O? Academy
    Friday 23 – Birmingham O? Academy
  • Monday 26 – London O? Forum Kentish Town
Tuesday 27 – London O? Forum Kentish Town
Wednesday 28 – London O? Forum Kentish Town

We wish Harry a very speedy recovery and look forward to seeing them later this year.
