Boy band extravaganza alert: McBusted announce two huge live shows. Plus there’s Backstreet Boys and 5ive!

When we first heard about classic early noughties boy bands Busted and McFly getting together to form a supergroup, we wondered why no one had thought of it sooner. I mean, why have one of them when you can have two?!

Well we’ve only just recovered from the whole McBusted band mash up malarkey and now the lads have gone one step further by announcing TWO huge outdoor live dates this summer. Not only that, two more of the greatest boy bands of all time will be joining them onstage: Backstreet Boys and 5ive.

Yes, you heard that correctly. Backstreet Boys and 5ive. ZOMG.

Also joining the lads on the bill will be guitar pop trio Scouting For Girls, who released their greatest hits album last year, and everyone’s favourite dance troupe Diversity to round things off. A pop extravaganza if ever there was one, readers.

The boys will be playing Weston-super-Mare beach and Ipswich Chantry Park on the 28th and 29th of June respectively and tickets go on sale at 10am on the 31st of January. We’ll be at the front of the queue hyperventilating.
