Woah, we’re going to Ibiza! Well, we’re not but Mark Ronson and a few other perfect popstars are.

Mark Ronson is about to funk up Ibiza – probably in a much more cool style than the Vengaboys did – as it’s been announced that he will be headlining a date of this year’s Ibiza Rocks live shows to help celebrate their tenth birthday.

Mr. Ronson and hip hop trio De La Soul are the latest names to be announced for the tenth anniversary shows and join the already confirmed headliners The Libertines, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Clean Bandit, Rudimental, Fatboy Slim Presents Smile High Club, Jungle, Sigma, Years & Years, The Courteeners and your mum’s teenage baes Spandau Ballet.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we had a quote from Mark Ronson talking about how he’s played every Ibiza Rocks since 2006, how the crew is like a family to him and how much he can’t wait to get back there? Good job we do then.

“I’ve been playing Ibiza Rocks since 2006, that crew is like family to me. It’s been the site of some of my favourite gigs ever – either with the band or DJing with my brother, Zane Lowe. I can’t wait to be playing back there this summer.”
