Chart Update: Magic! race up the charts while Neon Jungle look set for a Top 10 album!

Canadian reggae band Magic! sat down with MP! recently to plan their launch party but it looks like we might have to help them plan another celebration soon! The boys are on course for their first UK number 1 with the insanely catchy ‘Rude’, which has climbed an incredible 48 places since its initial release, dislodging Cheryl’s ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ in the process. Well done, boys!

It’s also good news for newcomer Melissa Steel, who clinches her first Top 5 solo hit with the summery ‘Kisses For Breakfast’, as well Britain’s Got Talent duo Bars & Melody, who sail into the chart at number 2 with ‘Hopeful’. The Voice star Leah McFall also gets a look in at the Top 40 with debut single ‘Home’. Meanwhile in the album charts, the all-conquering Ed Sheeran remains at number 1 with ‘X’ while the amazing Neon Jungle score a well deserved Top 10 album with ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, straight in at number 6. Could it all change by Sunday though? We’ll have to wait and find out…
