If there was an award for the brand which gets the strangest customer complaints, Lush would take home the trophy. Remember the girl whose skin recently got dyed pink after misusing a product?
Even weirder things are happening now as customers are complaining that plants are sprouting in their showers after using a particular massage bar. Eeek!

It appears that the Wiccy Magic Muscles massage bar, designed to loosen up achy muscles, is causing plants to grow in people’s bathrooms. Crazy!
Helen Ambrosen, co-founder of Lush, explained, “We use organic aduki beans to create a texture in the massage bar, so that you’ve got small bead like shapes to massage the muscles.”

It seems that these organic ingredients do not mix well with warm temperature and water – well, unless you want the perfect conditions for a plant to sprout.
“In order for the beans to germinate they must of been left in the shower for a few days. The results you get just go to show how fresh the ingredients really are.”
We think you’re kind of missing the point there, Lush, but okay.
Well if we ever feel like growing a plant in our drain, we now know where to go.
