It looks like Lukas Graham will be making chart history on Friday…


Lukas Graham and their actual unstoppable hit ‘7 Years’ is set to make UK chart history this Friday by spending it’s fifth at the top of the charts.

This hasn’t been done since Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ ‘Uptown Funk’ which spent five weeks at number one in December 2014 and January 2015.

Elsewhere in this week’s Official Singles Chart update, Mike Posner climbs to number two with ‘I Took A Pill In Ibiza’, Rihanna and Drake’s ‘Work’ slips to number three, Zara Larsson‘s ‘Lush Life’ stays at number four, and Jonas Blue and Dakota’s ‘Fast Car’ at number five.

In the albums chart, Adele looks set to reclaim number one with ’25’ after kicking off her world tour this week, whilst Jess Glynne’s ‘I Cry When I Laugh’ jumps to number two following her performance on Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

Completing the Top 5 are Justin Bieber‘s ‘Purpose’ at number three, David Bowie’s ‘Best of Bowie’ at number four, and Coldplay’s ‘A Head Full Of Dreams’ at number five.
