MP! Exclusive: Little Mix talk ‘Glory Days’ and Jesy’s honesty will shock you!

We met with Little Mix on Thursday and we’re honestly still recovering. Being in a room with that level of fabulousness and perfection really does take it out of you. But we survived, barely…

Thank goodness they weren’t dressed like that… we would have gone into meltdown.

We chatted to the girls about everything, from their new book ‘Our World’ to their personal struggles. Here’s a few MP! exclusive moments:

How was the writing process of ‘Our World’?

Jesy: “It’s weird when you have to relive certain things. It can be really emotional to go back to a time which wasn’t very nice for you. It was hard for all of us but at the same time it was like therapy.”

Jade: “It’s quite a relief when it’s out there.”

Was that why you decided to write the book?

Jesy: “We just love the fact that our fans relate to us so much and that young girls will read this who are going through the same thing. I know that I’ve come out the other end a better person and that’s what we try to do with our music so it’s great to be able to do it in a book.”

Does that link to the album title ‘Glory Days’?

“We’ve grown into women. We’ve learned a lot over the past five years and we’re just ready and raring to go.”

We also got in questions from some fan accounts:

LittleMixTour: Describe your new era in four words:

“Mature, sassy, honest and fabulous.”

LMMusicFacts: What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve been given?

“Lick bum.”

LightningMixers: What advice do you have for your 15 year old selves?

“Believe in yourself and don’t let anyone put you down and it’ll all be alright.”

MixerManagement: Why did you call your album ‘Glory Days’?

“Because when we’re grey and withered we will look back and feel like these were our glory days.”
