Little Mix discuss how to deal with break-ups but reveal ‘Get Weird’ isn’t a heartbreak album.

Zerrie is no more. We’ve known that for a couple of months, but now with Zayn sharing photos of his new flame on social media, it looks certain that he and Perrie really aren’t getting back together. So with a new album on the horizon with tracks like break-up anthem ‘Hair’ and heartbreak ballad ‘Love Me Like You’ featured, does that mean that Little Mix’s upcoming album ‘Get Weird’ is going to be deemed as the next best heartbreak album?

HELL. FUDGING. NO.

Although ‘Get Weird’ is said to be full to the brim with “kiss-off girl-powered anthems”, saying that the album was about Perrie’s break-up with Zayn would just be giving him too much credit according to Teen Vogue.

‘Get Weird’ does mark a new direction for the girls, but they’re not about that Adele lyf. “We’re growing up. We’re not young girls anymore,” says Leigh-Anne. “It’s a little more cheeky. It’s quite a pop album that’s relatable to everyone — it’s classic ‘80s pop.”

But what should you do if you’re getting over a break-up, Perrie? “Surround yourself with your girlfriends, have fun, have a night out, maybe have a good cry, eat lots of crap…I love toffee popcorn, crisps, chocolate, I love milkybar, I love chocolate, I love ice cream.”

“You can do anything you want when you’ve got friends around you,” Jade adds.

We need to become BFFLs with Little Mix, pronto!
