Lily James follows Cara Delevingne’s footsteps as the new face of Burberry

Succeeding the likes of Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne as the newest face of My Burberry, mega babe Lily James is set to launch the brand’s latest fragrance ‘My Burberry Black’.

The campaign, shot by Mario Testino, is set to launch in August this year and will mark the actress’s first ever global advertising campaign. Congrats girl!

I am thrilled to be officially joining the Burberry family. I am so proud to be British, so it really means a lot,” James said in a statement. “Shooting my first campaign was so special – I don’t want to give away too much but I had a lot of fun showing a different side of myself.”

Known for her roles as Lady Rose MacClare in Downton Abbey and Cinderella in the film of the same name, we’re excited to see Lily switch it up a bit and perhaps show a more edgier side to her style.
