Lily Allen gets high in the sky for the trippy new video for ‘Air Balloon’ – check the video out here…

Lily Allen has unveiled the video clip for her new single ‘Air Balloon’ which sees her cavort with a zoo, grow mushrooms, and ascend into the sky like a well-tailored Supergirl. Standard pop video fare then really.

In the video, a stoned-looking Lily takes on what appears to be an oasis in the desert (filmed in South Africa apparently) with Ms Allen stroking and using a zebra and a cheetah as furniture as she sings. She also manages to find herself four men and a three piece suite, the camera doing somersaults throughout, before she departs her flock of accompanying butterflies and enters space where she floats and encounters a giant ‘Space Jesus’ (we have no words, reader) before landing back on Earth.

So… clearly it’s the most ‘out there’ video Lily’s ever done and probably ever will do, but fortunately the song is effortlessly catchy and enjoyable and actually works with the video’s theme, which is always a nice touch. Plus Lily’s pigtails were adorable, so bonus points for that.

Check out the very trippy video for ‘Air Balloon’ below and let us know what you think of the clip in the comments section.
