Those charitable One Direction boys just keep on giving and this week it was Liam Payne’s turn to show his face to help a local cause.
After Louis Tomlinson returned to Doncaster to play in a charity football match, Liam Payne has popped back to his neck of the woods to help a brand new youth project in Wolverhampton.
Daddy Direction joined his mum Karen, dad Geoff and girlfriend Sophia at the topping out ceremony at the city’s Youth Zone and announced hopes to become the charity’s figurehead.
The 1D band member told local press: “Wolverhampton is my home town and I am keen to give something back to the city that gave me a start in life.”
Wolverhampton’s latest Youth Zone project will be named ‘The Way’, and chairman Steve Morgan said of Liam’s help “The young people of Wolverhampton could not have a better role model to show them the way forward…Liam wants to be actively involved and come down to The Way when he can after it has opened.”
So, it looks like Liam could be heading home more often very soon. *Books one way ticket to Wolverhampton*
