Learning to deal with mental health isn’t easy, but it is possible

Just by being your bawse self!

There is no real “cure” for a mental health issue. Yes, you can get medical help, you can overcome the symptoms or challenge and be proactive about the triggers. Yes, you can come out of an “episode” and never fall into one again. But your mental health will continue to be better, or worse, throughout your life.

That doesn’t mean you can’t deal and learn how to be a total queen while living with it. Lilly Singh taught us as much in ‘How to Be A Bawse’.

Most of you hardcore Lilly Singh fans will know that she struggled with depression, and it was one of the reasons she started her YouTube channel. And we have been BLESSED by her online presence ever since.

Her openness and honesty about it, coupled with her success, continues to be a source of inspiration for many people still learning to cope.

Her journey has undeniably motivated and changed people:

Just. Yes. Goals.

And much of what she has said on the matter just goes to prove how much strength we can all find inside of ourselves. We really can.

Even though it’s a constant battle:

And it’s no doubt an uphill road sometimes. But the payoff is undeniably big.

It’s also in remembering that success doesn’t have to mean something big. It’s relative to your own goals and aspirations.

Because at the end of the day, all you can do is be you. And being the best version of you is the biggest achievement of them all.
