Festival season is finally here, they’ve started already! And rightly so, because as we’re writing this guess what? It’s raining! Ahhhh British summer time.
Latitude 2014 takes place over the weekend of 17th July at Henham Park in Suffolk. There’s top notch music, theatre, comedy, dance, poetry and live art. If you’re expecting just a boring standard festival – this isn’t the one for you. This year there’s a MASSIVE 13 stages all catering for something a little bit different and a whole lot amazing!
We’ve had a perusal through the line-up and picked out these MP! must see’s
The Black Keys
Their new album ‘Turn Blue’ has had us playing air guitar like mad in the car! And the front cover makes our eyes go funny, in a good way.
MP! favourites Haim are taking to the main stage on Sunday. We hope to see more bass face from Este. More maraca shaking from Alana and more hair flicks and guitar shredding from Danielle. They won’t let us down.
Take note from Este Haim, this is how to dance at a festival.
We’ll bring the boys. You bring the milkshake.
Look how cute they are.
And how bloody amazing they sound!
The fittest lad from Bristol we know, and he’s got a cracking voice. We’d go to Budapest anytime with him.
Catfish and the Bottle Men
They bagged Zane Lowe’s hottest record in the world, and here’s just one reason why. One of MP!’s bands to watch this year.
As well as all those there’s comedy from the likes of Simon Amstell, Al Murray, Milton Jones and Josh Widdicombe. And loads more we can’t fit into 20 articles, let alone 1. Check out the full line-up here.
Tickets are on sale now from as little as £5 a day. We’ll see you down the front with an ice cream and a bad sun tan.
